Appointments

How a planning meeting unfolds

Retirement and pension advice is delivered through a short sequence of appointments—not a single sales call. Here is what to expect before you book.

Where we meet

Face-to-face appointments are held at our Upton Hackett office. Video meetings are available for clients elsewhere in Great Britain who prefer not to travel with a stack of statements.

Please allow ninety minutes for a first fact-find. Recommendation meetings are usually sixty to seventy-five minutes once the analysis is ready.

Appointment stages

  1. Introductory call (20 minutes)

We confirm whether your question sits inside our advice permissions and outline likely fees. No charge for this call.

  2. Fact-find meeting

Income, spending, pension statements, and goals. Couples attend together when the plan will fund a shared household.

  3. Analysis window

We build cashflow and scheme comparisons. You may receive clarifying questions by email while we wait on providers.

  4. Recommendation meeting

We present the written plan, walk through assumptions, and agree next steps—including whether further regulated advice is needed.

What to bring

  • Recent workplace and personal pension statements
  • State Pension forecast if you have one
  • A simple monthly spending note (rough figures are fine)
  • Details of ISAs, bonds, or taxable investment accounts
